Scenario planning involves developing a series of backgrounds of posible future events based on known and projected facts and data. 

Resource planning involves an analysis of the actual resources – money, people (numbers and skills), facilities, equipment, capacity and overall capability - needed by business, sport and not for profit organisations to successfully implement their strategic and business plans.
